California Dreamin'
Flew into Oakland yesterday evening, had a nice dinner at Oliveto's, and was in bed before midnight. This morning I awoke to fog, but it began to lift around 11:30 and now looks like it will be a nice day.
Mom and I went to the farm market this morning, and bought fresh halibut (caught yesterday out of Bodega), white corn, yellow peaches, two loaves of bread from a new organic bakery in Penngrove, mixed cherry tomatoes, and two baskets of strawberries, so we're having strawberry shortcake for lunch.
The garden is coming along nicely -- think it will be in good shape for the wedding. Only three weeks from today -- hard to believe that I've been engaged since March; it feels such a short time ago.
